Whether you're meal prepping a quick snack, need a pre/post-workout bite, or just want something that feels like a treat without wrecking your day, these will hit the spot.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Perfect post-lift fuel: Fast-digesting carbs + light protein make these ideal after a workout
  • Macro-friendly AND easy to digest: Great even when your macros are sky-high
  • Quick & easy: From stovetop to set in under 30 minutes
  • Customizable: Use different cereals, add mix-ins (like mini chocolate chips or sprinkles), or switch up the flavor with another ANIMAL whey variant

Ingredients

  • 40g light butter
  • 250g marshmallows
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract (optional, but adds a nice flavor boost)
  • 40g ANIMAL Vanilla Whey Protein
  • 110g cereal (I used classic Rice Krispies)

Instructions

  1. Prep your pan: Line an 8x8" pan with parchment paper and lightly spray or grease it. Set aside.
  2. Melt the base: In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the marshmallows and mix until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Flavor & protein boost: Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract (if using) and ANIMAL Vanilla Whey. Mix until well incorporated—work quickly here.
  4. Add the crunch: Immediately stir in the cereal, mixing until evenly coated.
  5. Set & slice: Pour the mixture into your prepared pan and press it down gently with a spatula. Let them set at room temp for about 30 minutes, or until firm. Slice into 12 bars.
